Acsia Technologies aimed to upgrade its network infrastructure by replacing the core switch and adding an additional access switch. This case study outlines the actions taken to configure an Aruba 2930 core switch, an Aruba 1930 access switch, and an Aruba 505 AP access point. The successful implementation resulted in an enhanced network infrastructure with improved performance, scalability, and reliable Wi-Fi connectivity for users.
The project’s scope involved the following key areas:
The existing core switch was replaced with an Aruba 2930 switch. The new core switch was configured to handle the network’s backbone operations and ensure high-speed and reliable connectivity throughout the organization. The configuration involved setting up VLANs, port configurations, and routing protocols to optimize network performance.
An additional access switch, the Aruba 1930, was added to the network infrastructure to expand connectivity options and accommodate more devices. The access switch was configured to connect end-user devices and provide them with access to the network resources. The configuration included VLAN setup, port configurations, and link aggregation, ensuring efficient and secure connectivity.
An Aruba 505 AP access point was deployed to provide reliable and high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity. The access point was configured to broadcast wireless networks, allowing users to connect their devices and access network resources seamlessly. Configuration tasks included SSID setup, security protocols, channel selection, and radio power optimization.
The replacement of the core switch, addition of an access switch, and deployment of the Aruba 505 AP access point yielded several positive outcomes, including:
The successful replacement of the core switch, addition of an access switch, and deployment of the Aruba 505 AP access point at Acsia Technologies resulted in an upgraded network infrastructure with improved performance, scalability, and reliable Wi-Fi connectivity. The configuration of Aruba switches and access points ensured streamlined network management and enhanced security. This case study serves as an example of an industrial-standard network and Wi-Fi enterprise configuration, highlighting the importance of a well-designed and implemented network infrastructure for organizations seeking reliable and efficient connectivity.
